Scholarships

There is a lot of post-secondary information available to students.  In fact there is so much information available it may be overwhelming. The two links below provide an abundance of information presented in an organized, easy to read fashion.

Additionally, below is a list of sites you can check out for various opportunities. Note that many applications will require some time and effort to complete the application.  You may be asked to describe your academic goals, your community involvement, volunteer activities, extra-curricular activities as well as your career plans. Your financial situation may also come into consideration. Read the description of each award carefully and be sure you complete each application with care.

University and Colleges

When you have applied to a university or college program you are often given an opportunity to create a student account.  You may find information about scholarships and bursaries offered by the institution.  These are generally not found within the website searches mentioned above.

Personal Association

You or your parents may belong to an organization that offers student awards.  Your parents' employer or union may offer awards to the children of their employees. Your part-time employer may offer awards to student employees.  You may also be able to find awards through organizations that you belong such as a community or youth group or a sports team.
