Since 2016, OCDSB students and students at Yamate Gakuin High School in Yokohama, Japan, have participated in bi-annual cultural exchanges.
Japanese students come to Ottawa from April 14 - 28, 2023 to stay with host families (2 students / family who may share a room), attend school a few times, and participate in various tours and activities in and around the Ottawa area.
OCDSB students from east-end schools (Cairine Wilson, Canterbury, Colonel By, and Gloucester) then travel to Yokohama from July 20 - August 4, 2023 to stay with host families and participate in various tours and activities in and around the Tokyo area.
